Installing the replacement converter
We secure the replacement converter in its mounting location and reconnect the AC and DC wires to their corresponding terminals, following the existing wiring layout. Our equipment for electrical checks includes a multimeter or AC voltmeter.
Converter price and installation
The WFCO WF-8955 converter unit is listed at $285 to $385 without installation. That range is for the unit alone, not the installed replacement.
