How we replace the awning fabric
We feed the replacement fabric’s polycord edge through the tube track, center the fabric and secure it at both ends. We then roll it tightly and flat without letting it telescope. After reinstalling the end cap and roll tube, we extend and retract the awning several times to check that the fabric stays centered. We reinstall the final polycord retaining screws only after that check.
Manual awning replacement fabric cost
Replacement fabric for a manual awning costs $150 to $500 for the fabric only. That range is not an installed price.

How It Works
Here's how a request moves from first contact to a clear answer.
-
Reach Out
Tell us what you're seeing and when it started, you'll get a straight answer, not a sales pitch.
-
No-Pressure Inspections
A tech inspects the problem in person, no guessing from photos, no drive-by quotes.
-
Clear, Written Quote
You get the scope and the price in writing before any work starts. No surprises.
-
Job Done, Checked, Cleaned Up
Our crew does the work, checks it, and leaves the site clean. You see everything we did.
In practice, on a job like this:
- Check that the existing awning hardware is serviceable, then match the replacement fabric to the awning model and measure the fabric from polycord edge to polycord edge.
- Extend the awning about 12 inches, secure both head assemblies with zip ties, and remove the polycord-retaining screws at both ends.
