Capacitors and replacement units
For capacitor replacement, we use an OEM-matched start, run or dual capacitor, as required by the unit. Replacement rooftop AC options include a 13.5K BTU cool-only unit or a 15K BTU heat pump.
Installing a Coleman-Mach unit
When installing a Coleman-Mach unit, we lift it without using the outer plastic shroud as a lifting point. We orient the shroud nose toward the front of the vehicle.
We also check site conditions before assuming the ground is firm and even. Harlingen-series soil is very clayey, cracks when dry and allows water to pass through very slowly. Some areas are subject to rare flooding.
Checking cooling, drainage and the bezel seal
We run the system to check cooling output and drain function. After those checks, we apply lap sealant around the entire bezel perimeter.
